A Brief History
PT. Indo Bali was founded in 1978 in the business of making fish meal. However, after having received some advice from the Head of the Jembrana Level II Region, we started producing canned sardines, as well, which ultimately replaced the fish meal, as the company's main business. This business decision was made in line with the company's development, the catch of lemuru (Sardinella longiceps) which is quite abundant around the vicinity of the factory.
The raw materials for making sardines are fresh Lemuru (sardinella longiceps), flying fish (decapterus macarellus), and Tamban fish. These fresh fish are catches from local fishermen obtained in Indonesian Ocean waters. Lemuru, fly fish, and Tamban fish are fatty fish with fat content reaching 10-15%.
The catch must be fresh, therefore our quality control is paramount for the fish that have just been supplied to PT. Indo Bali by the fishermen. For sardines, the required size is between 20 - 35 fish per 1 kg and the minimum length is 10 cm.
After the weighing process, the fish are then sorted, cut & cleaned by experienced hands and proceed to be filled into cans with deliciously prepared seasonings & sauces.
Once sealed, the filled cans are then washed & cleaned and sterilized before going to the packing stations, where the finished goods are then finally packed into boxes, ready to be shipped out to our customers.
Our delicious sardines are then distributed throughout Indonesia and beyond. To be enjoyed by our loyal customers!

The company was established on October 19, 1977 and was inaugurated in 1990 by Minister of Industry Hartarto with Decree of the Minister of Industry number 3114 / AI.0155 / 715.1.2 / 35/82. The company's investment comes entirely from pure private ownership of shares of the founders of the company itself. The product marketing area of PT. Indo Bali includes the islands of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi for canned sardine products.

The Natural State of The Company
PT. Indo Bali is located in Tegalbadeng Barat Village, Negara District, Jembrana Regency - Bali Province. The position of the village of West Tegalbadeng is + 9 Km from the State. PT. Indo Bali has the following boundaries: North side : Tegalbadeng Barat village East side : Pengambengan village South : Pengambengan beach West side : Cupel village.
From an economic and geographical point of view, the Pengambengan village is a potential fish producer because this area is also near fishing ports, such as Gilimanuk, Muncar (Banyuwangi), Prancak, and Air Kuning. PT. Indo Bali was built on the coast of Pengambengan, which is an offshore sea (Indonesian Ocean), making it easier to obtain raw materials for sardines and fish meal. PT. Indo Bali is located on a land area of 16,500 M2 with a total building area of 8,000 M2 and the layout of the building is adjusted to the existing area based on the order of product processing. For example, for the receipt of initial raw materials, facilities have been built near the coast which are directly related to the stopping of fishing vessels.
